Why do we have a Kids Club?

To give kids and their families the opportunity to participate in fun activities

Who can be a member and how?

Any child aged 10 and under may join the club. As a parent, you do not have to be a Rocky Co-op member for your child to join.

Joining is as easy as filling out an application form. These applications are available at the Administration Office, at Grocery Customer Service, and at Kids Club special events.

Completed forms may be put in the Kids Club box at the Grocery Customer Service counter.

Exciting Membership Benefits

Members receive their very own membership card.

A special coupon is included in the welcoming package that will be received by mail. This coupon is redeemable for a gift when turned in to our store.

Members receive special treats from our designated departments each time they enter our store. All that is required is for the child to present their member card at these departments.

A birthday card will be sent in the mail approximately one week before a child's birthday.

A fun quarterly newsletter is sent in the mail to all members informing them of special club events and activities.

Members receive a gift upon graduating at age eleven.
Special Events

Our fun and exciting events are geared to delight children. These include movie nights, colouring contests, skating parties, summer picnics, family swims, craft days, bowling parties, riding your bike in the parade, face painting, pumpkin decorating contest, pictures with Santa and visiting with Casey at the store and at all of our events. These are always free for Kids Club members to participate in.

Since a parent or guardian needs to be present, we enjoy having them skate, swim, and doing crafts with the kids. The events are always free for kids club members to participate in. We are always looking for new events to put on, so if you have any suggestions please put them in the kids club suggestion box at the customer service counter.
Graduation

Graduation happens when your child reaches 11 years of age since the club is only for members 10 & under. The graduation notice will be included with a child's birthday card sent for their eleventh birthday. After your eleventh birthday you can return your Kids Club Membership Card back to the store and receive a graduation gift from our treasure box.
When Members Move

The most common reason a child will not receive a newsletter or birthday card in the mail is because we do not have a current address.

Once a letter has been returned unopened, they are immediately flagged No Mailing in our database. This status will remain until we can get a correct address confirmation.

If your family moves, please drop off a new application stating 'address changed' on the application form. This helps us to keep our records current or you can e-mail changes to kidsclub@rockycoop.com.
Lost Card

Simply fill out another application form and write replacement card on it somewhere. If we are close to sending out a newsletter we will enclose the card in the envelope sent to your child. Otherwise, we will contact you when it is ready so you may pick it up at the store.
